Privacy Policy

Summary
- No registration and no login, so we hold no personal profile about you
- Downloaded media is never copied to our servers
- No advertising or analytics scripts are loaded by the downloader
- The only data leaving your browser is the Instagram link you paste
What we do not collect
- Names, e-mail addresses or passwords
- Your Instagram credentials - the tool never asks for them
- A download history on the server side
- Precise location data or device fingerprints
What is processed when you search
When you press Download, your browser sends the pasted Instagram link to the resolver service. The resolver uses it only to look up the public media list for that post.
Like any web request, that call exposes technical data to the receiving server: your IP address, the time of the request, your browser's user-agent string and the link itself. The same applies to the request your browser then makes to Instagram's CDN to fetch the file.
Local storage and cookies
The resolver keeps a short in-memory timer so that rapid repeated searches stay inside the API's per-second limit. It disappears when you close the tab and is not written to disk.
GetMeInsta.com itself does not set advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The only stored preferences are the ones your browser keeps for its own download settings.

These providers process requests under their own privacy policies; we cannot control their retention periods.
Data retention
Because there is no account and no server-side history, there is no stored record to delete. Closing the tab ends the session. Browser download history stays on your device and can be cleared from the browser settings at any time.
Children
GetMeInsta.com is not directed at children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly process data from children; if you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will help you clear any local traces.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct, restrict or delete personal data, and to object to processing. Since the downloader holds no personal data itself, most requests can only concern the resolver or the CDN - we will point you to the right contact if you ask.
Changes to this policy
If the way the service handles data changes, this page is updated and the revision date at the top changes with it. Material changes are announced on the home page.
